LEARNING OUTCOMES:
The objective of the course is to acquaint students with the concepts and principles related to innovation and to develop an awareness of the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship for development at the individual, business, sector and society level. In addition, the course will familiarize students with the steps in the process of realizing entrepreneurial ideas and assessing the resources needed to successfully implement an entrepreneurial venture in the food production sector, with a focus on for the principles of social, economic and environmental sustainability.

- Acknowledge the terms in the field of innovation;
- Understand the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship for the development of businesses and the economy as a whole;
- Understand the difference between innovation and invention and adopt the principles of business ethics in the field of innovation
